HID / AccessIS OCR315e ID Document reader.

The OCR315e reader can simply be attached to a variety of handheld and ultra mobile PCs, tablets, standard desktop keyboards and monitors, or act as standalone units as part of a data capture process,
such as Know Your Customer, Know Your Employee, age verification and airport check-in. It’s track length and single slot design are optimised to ensure that passports and ID cards are correctly aligned for consistent and accurate reading. The track length ensures that documents slide along the metal plate smoothly without rocking, ensuring a good read first time, every time. The OCR315e bidirectional reader can read machine-readable passports (MRP), visas (MRV), US and international residence permits as well as European and other national ID cards conforming to ICAO 9303 & ISO/IEC 7501-1 (2 and 3-line MRZ). It will also read the new ISO/IEC 18013-1 driving licences (1-line MRZ), so is future-proofed.

HID / AccessIS OCR316e ID Document reader.

The OCR316e is a compact and robust OCR reader. It can simply be attached to a variety of handheld and ultra mobile PCs, tablets, standard desktop keyboards and monitors, or act as standalone units as part of the data capture process, such as Know Your Customer, age verification and airport check-in. The interface connection is via USB. The track length and single slot design are optimised to ensure that passports and ID cards are correctly aligned for consistent and accurate reading. The bidirectional reader can read machine-readable passports (MRP), visas (MRV), US and international residence permits as well as European and other national ID cards conforming to ICAO 9303 & ISO/IEC 7501-1 (2 and 3-line MRZ). It will also read the new ISO/IEC 18013-1 driving licences (1-line MRZ), so is future-proofed. It also integrates a three-track MSR and is able to read credit and debit cards, loyalty cards and frequent flyer cards.

HID / AccessIS AKB500 – Integrated multi-function Keyboard.

The AKB500 family of keyboards integrate OCR and MSR functionality to deliver a solid, multi-function device with a compact footprint ideal for airline passenger check-in and card reading, and retail/POS and security environments for quickly establishing customer identity. One of the key features of the AKB500 family is the placement of the read camera at the centre of the read slot, allowing for bi-directional reading within the footprint of the device and saving valuable desk space. The keyboard can be adapted to add a new host or to support non-standard cards, such as loyalty or frequent flyer and special dedicated formats. To ensure flexibility for the future, new firmware to add and modify features can be downloaded to the unit.

HID / AccessIS ADR100 ID Document reader

The ADR100 Photo ID Scanner (ID-1 Size) captures a full-colour image of the ID card together with ultraviolet (UV). This device has been designed for indoor and outdoor use, under all lighting conditions and weather – overcast, bright sun, rain. When a credit card sized photo ID card is presented to the scanner the photograph on the card is automatically detected, cropped and rotated, allowing both the holder’s portrait and card images to be displayed right-way-up.

ID-1 (credit card) sized documents supported by the ADR100 include:

Access-IS’ innovative ATOM® Document Reader (ADR300) can be fitted with the ADR30X Expansion Dock to further extend its capability to either contact smart card reading, magnetic stripe reading or both. The elegant ‘drop-in’ design means that the unit can be supplied already mated, or retrofitted in the field in just a few seconds.

AccessIS KAD300 is a state-of-the-art, multi-functional OCR/MSR reader with a low profile, compact design and options for barcode reading and RFID functionality. ATOM allows for both desktop use and simple, OEM integration into countertops. The device delivers fast (non-swipe) MRZ decoding of passports and ID cards, and integrates an ergonomic MSR swipe reader for credit and FQTV cards. It can optionally include fast 1D/2D barcode reader that can read from paper, phones, tablets and smart watches. Barcode tickets are presented, face-down, over the scanning window. The large window, wide viewing angle, and depth-of-field creates a large barcode reading area.

The OCR601-MK2 is a machine readable zone (MRZ) data reader with RFID functionality, to simultaneously decode the contents of an ePassport or contactless smart card.  The OCR601-MK2 automatically detects when a document with machine readable data has been inserted and its advanced recognition engine provides highly accurate and instant data capture and decoding. By integrating the contactless RFID reader/writer the device simultaneously and efficiently captures and processes data fields, including the holder’s image, from the chip. This combined functionality provides a robust and cost-effective alternative to full-page, multi-illumination ID scanners such as the ATOM® Document Reader.

HID / AccessIS OCR640e Desktop

The OCR640e Desktop is a full-page, multi-illumination ePassport reader. It captures ultraviolet and infrared images as well the full page of a passport in colour.  In a simultaneous single action the reader also decodes the machine readable zone (MRZ) and processes RFID data – including the holder’s image – from the chip. The OCR640e automatically detects when a document with machine readable data has been presented. Additionally, it is able to compensate for out-of-position MRZ data, so that the advanced recognition engine reliably provides highly accurate and very fast document reading capability, allowing large volumes of documents and smart cards to be processed quickly and efficiently. The unit features blue, amber, green and red LEDs to inform the user of status: ready to scan, processing, successful scan; or to indicate an issue with the document. The unit can be programmed to provide audible feedback to confirm a successful read, signal premature removal of a document and flag a variety of data details. The OCR640e has a compact, robust design and is designed for years of heavy-duty, frontline use.
